I begin today's blog by stating the joyful moment that I'v experienced this weekend; days before heading to chile. My abuelita (grandma) was visiting from San Juan, Puerto Rico, and my favorite cousin's babyshower also occured. It was honestly the best moment in my life that I had in a while. The simplicity of life is to love others, and learned from those journeys with the people around us. I cannot wait for Santiago, Chile and the experiences that I will live with my girls. I know that it's going to be a blast, yet an amazing learning enriching experience. From learning the dialogue of Chileans, and rushing into restaurants to find the food of the day. The mountains that we will climb and on each and every step appreciating life. I want to lastly want to thank GOD for this experience without him, and the strength that he gives me all of these things would not be possible. Gracias papa dios contigo todo es possible.

Alexia - thanks for posting such a great blog. I'm not sure if you know me, but I'm one of the professors in EXED (not just some random blog stalker!) This trip sounds so exciting and we are all thankful for your blogs so that we can keep up! I'm sure everyone is grateful for your fluent Spanish, so you may be the voice of the group for a while. Have a wonderful time; I can't wait to read more:)
